For many, the start of 2020 marked an uptick in stress and anxiety about the upcoming presidential election. The goal was to create a product that could speak to this sentiment while also playing in the quirky and giftable world of Pinch Provisions, remaining bipartisan and also gender-neutral. The Election Year Survival Kit was then born.

With bright colors, bold patterns and nods to the American flag, I crafted a packaging solution that checked all those boxes while still feeling inline with our brand.

From determining the structure, brainstorming and designing the components within the kit, and designing the packaging, I saw this project through from start to finish.

The Election Year Survival Kit served as the inspiration for the tone, color palette and aesthetic of rest of the Spring 2020 collection. It was also a finalist for best new product at the @ny_now gift show.

It is currently being sold in national retailers such as Francesca’s and PaperSource.
